Horseback Riding For those children registered in the General Camp, an optional horseback riding program is offered twice weekly for one and one-half hours. Campers learn not only skills in riding but the other responsibilities of caring for a horse as well. Swim Team The Friends Academy Swim Team meets Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. The Swim Team is under the expert guidance of Mr. Charlie Butt who is varsity coach at Bowdoin College in Maine and has been our head coach for more than twenty years. This program stresses conditioning and development of swim strokes and technique. Swim meets are planned with other clubs during the summer.
